National Golf Course
The National Golf Club Antalya was opened
in late 1994 and designed by Ryder Cup player David
Feherty and Seniors Tour player David Jones. It was the first
golf course in Turkey to be developed with the guidance of
the European PGA and has been designed in accordance with
their standards.
The 18 hole Championship Course hosted the
first international professional golf tournament in Turkey, “The
Turkish Seniors Open ”, an official event of the European PGA
Seniors Tour. Carved through a forest of pine and eucalyptus
trees with a backdrop of the snow-capped Taurus mountains
and an abundance of natural lakes, the National tests all abilities
of player.
The 9 hole executive course, 40 bay driving range,
practice putting greens and chipping areas give every opportunity
to the less experienced player and to the complete beginner to
prepare themselves for bigger things to come. The British style
Clubhouse has a peaceful atmosphere and panoramic views
of the golf course. It contains the members’ lounge, private
terrace, committee/ dining room, library, reading room, reception
& provides secretarial services.
